Braun & Steidl Architects believes that architecture and interior design enhances the quality of life. Being good stewards of our community and profession greatly enhances the quality of life. Consequently, we foster the belief that volunteerism is an important way to impact both the profession and the community.

Braun & Steidl Architects’ involvement in The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is strong and ongoing. Douglas Steidl, FAIA, a founder of the firm, served as AIA Akron, AIA Ohio and AIA National President; Chas Schreckenberger, President of the firm, has served as President of both AIA Akron and AIA Ohio as well as an Ohio Valley Regional director to the AIA National Board. Principals Rob Habel, Sandy Bresler and founding partner Jack Braun have all served as their local AIA chapter President. Additionally, several additional Braun & Steidl staff members have served on AIA Local and State Executive Boards and Committees. Thus, our commitment to AIA is strong.
