AKRON – April 12, 2017 – Braun & Steidl Architects is proud to announce Julia Duhart recently earned her architectural license. Duhart, a valued team leader in the organization, has worked tirelessly to become a Registered Architect, all while working full-time and being a wife and mother.

“Julia is a very organized individual that gets things done.” said President of the firm, Chas Schreckenberger.

Julia has over twelve years experience in the architecture field, four of which with Braun & Steidl. She has a mix of client and project types ranging from higher education and K-12 schools to senior housing and hotels. Julia works with clients from the earliest stages of design, building relationships that support successful projects. She provides strong leadership to assure that project documents are thorough and accurate. Her knowledge of sustainable design allows our clients and their projects to benefit from creative green building strategies.

“No matter what the assignment, we can rely on Julia’s skills and leadership to lead the team to meet clients’ needs.” said Schreckenberger.

“Those in the firm gravitate toward Julia as a tremendous resource for technical and code issues and is a sustainability leader in the firm” added Robert Habel, Principal.

Our good news doesn’t end there, we’ve recently added two more professionals to our already talented bunch in Akron! Beth Anne Graham, RA and David Wyatt come to us as Registered Architect and Specifications Writer, respectively. We’re excited to add these team members as it means our workload capacity and quality to detail have bumped up a notch.

“The addition of Beth Anne has already had an impact, particularly in the area of Interior Architecture; and David brings his 30 years of specification writing experience sorely missed through the retirement of long time Spec Writer Phil Steinberg.” said Schreckenberger.

Braun & Steidl Architects has seen steady growth over the years and continues to seek projects in religious, higher education, K-12 schools, public, corporate, historic restoration, housing and hospitality markets. The hiring of Beth Anne and Dave add to the staff’s skill-set to help keep this trajectory.
