Summit County Historical Society - Simon Perkins Mansion

Built in 1837 as home to the son of one of Akron's founders, this Greek revival structure remained unchanged until renovations in 1887 and 1919. To maintain the historically significant structure, an investigation and analysis was completed to develop a scope of work for the restoration. Repairs to the mansion included restoration of the exterior stone façade, electrical upgrades and asbestos abatement.
