Hotel Indigo


A “branded boutique” hotel by InterContinental Hotels Group, the Jacksonville, Florida Tapestry Park project is a 5-story, 96-room hotel that includes expanded meeting rooms and a boardroom with banquet food service. Engaging custom design, an urban oasis, and inviting guestrooms are Indigo hallmarks evidenced throughout this facility. Originally designed by Braun & Steidl Architects, opened in 2009, the Hotel Indigo has been updated as part of their “Continual Renewal Program”. Research determined  two subject areas that the new design would focus on: The Silent Movie industry and the Modern Prairie School of Architecture, both iconic qualities, unique to the history of Jacksonville. This soft renovation included replacement of finishes, furnishings, accessories and art work influenced by these “Neighborhood Stories”
