The new K-5 school replaced the 1950’s building on the site. Braun & Steidl with MKC Associates designed the facility, part of the first segment of new schools built for Columbus City Schools in over 20 years. The 54,834 sq. ft. school for 550 students includes 22 classrooms, a media center, computer lab, commons area and gymnasium. Administrative offices adjacent to the front entrance link public spaces to academic wings and provide security during the school day and evening community events.
