As part of their expansion strategy, Grace Church has renovated a two-story industrial building in Medina, Ohio into a new branch campus appealing to a younger demographic. The existing high bay space was converted to a new 432-seat sanctuary. Adjacent to the sanctuary are public spaces with café, bookstore and pre-function space on the first floor, and a new youth room on the second level. The one-story portion of the building was transformed into classrooms and multi-purpose rooms for youth activities and education. The industrial aesthetic remains though out the renovation. The exterior of the building was re-clad with new aluminum storefront and Hardie board. The existing metal siding was painted to create a new contemporary image for the church.
