With a tradition of excellence in the practice of architecture, Braun & Steidl Architects has been recognized and presented with many design awards over the past 28 years. In 1998, our firm received the State of Ohio's highest architectural honor, the AIA OHIO GOLD MEDAL FIRM AWARD. This honor was awarded in recognition of the most distinguished service and highest quality exemplified by a firm in the practice of architecture.
Continuing in this tradition of excellence, Braun & Steidl Architects' exemplary activity in the field of architecture is evident in the many organizations in which our principals and staff hold positions of leadership. In 2005 Doug Steidl, FAIA, served as the AIA National President, and in 2007, Chas Schreckenberger, AIA, served as president of AIA Ohio. In 2009, Chas was elected to serve on the AIA National Board of Directors as an Ohio Valley Regional (OVR) Director.
